Sculpture is my hands, my need to touch, my crave for closeness, connection and contact.
It’s my personal spaceship taking me to the realm of feelings.
Thus to relationships.

MY NEED FOR TOUCH
I love clay for it makes me dive into my soft spots,
cradling me into some safe place and amazing me for the power of
moulding brand new creatures from scratch.
I like assemblage as I love to see how different materials
interact and blend together, just like people.
It’s my personal way to express how differences are capable to cooperate
and build synergic, harmonious relationships.
I thrive with metal for it makes me feel my strenght
and I love the way it absorbs or reflects light,
showing us how you can shine or shadow.
I enjoy papier-mâché for its meditative process
which feels like a sacred ritual to me.
I love its simplicity and use of cheap, easy to find, recycling materials.
I honour it for allowing me to discover the joy of the 3 dimensions as a child
and for nourishing my deep love for paper.
I like plaster for its double character:
creamy and formless turning into sturdy and stable.
A master in transformation and a teacher of magic.
